GPS Upload Not Working


Phone 89, ses_18.
GPS data is not appearing in Grafana. I have tried to upload the GPS data multiple times over the course of the last 3 days, have made sure that data collection is active, have restarted the phone multiple times, etc. No data points are displaying in Grafana.

I have updated the Data Sync instructions at the link below to include the additional steps for confirming Datakit is shut down, ensuring Datakit remains inactive, and confirming the transferred files are not corrupt on the computer using DB Browser.

I checked the backup database file and it is corrupt. This is not the first file that I have seen uploaded to Box that is corrupted. In this case, it has made most of the data and all of the location information irrecoverable. It is crucial that all the study software has stopped ( backing up this database. You should be able to verify the validity of this backup by opening the file in . Another thing you should test is by launching DataKit directly and ensuring that the counting timer indicates "Stopped" and has turned red. Without this verification, the MD2K team will be unable to properly recover the data files if needed.

Hi - I don't know what to do about this. I am going to upload the data and put it in Box - but am hesitant to clear it out without seeing any GPS data on Grafana. However we need this phone to go back into circulation for new participants, so an answer ASAP would be appreciated.
